Dr. Mohammed Hassan Mohammed Ibraheim Gaballah is a consultant in forensic medicine and clinical toxicology with more than 18 years of professional experience in forensic pathology, medicolegal practice, forensic radiology, and clinical toxicology. He currently serves as a Forensic Examiner (Senior Registrar) at the Forensic Medicine Center in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. He is the Head of the Medical Research Administration at the same center. He is also a member of the General Committee for the Development of Forensic Medicine in Saudi Arabia and the founder of the Doctors Protection Academy (DPA), which provides medicolegal education and professional legal awareness for healthcare practitioners. Dr. Gaballah obtained his MBBCh. from the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2003. He subsequently earned a Master’s degree in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology in 2009, followed by a Master’s degree in Clinical Toxicology and Forensic Pathology in 2015 from Mansoura University. In 2017, he completed his Ph.D. in Forensic Medicine at the Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Nagoya City University, Japan, where he also worked as an Assistant Forensic Pathologist and Assistant Teacher in the Department of Forensic Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Gaballah has held several academic and professional positions in Egypt, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. He worked as a forensic pathologist at the Egyptian Forensic Medicine Authority under the Ministry of Justice from 2007 to 2020. He served on the Higher Board of the Egyptian Forensic Medicine Authority. He also has prior experience in emergency medicine, diagnostic radiology, and interventional radiology. Dr. Gaballah has participated in numerous international conferences and scientific meetings in Egypt, Japan, Kuwait, Italy, and Saudi Arabia, delivering both oral and poster presentations on forensic pathology, wound aging, disaster victim identification, toxicology, medicolegal practice, and climate-related forensic challenges. His scientific contributions include peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognized journals, including Forensic Science International, Legal Medicine, Tohoku Journal of Experimental Medicine, and Egyptian Journal of Forensic Sciences. His research interests include forensic pathology, wound-aging biomarkers, forensic radiology, sudden-death investigation, toxicological fatalities, disaster victim management, medical liability, and medicolegal education. He has authored and co-authored multiple studies on forensic molecular pathology, toxicology, sudden cardiac death, khat-related fatalities, and medicolegal issues affecting healthcare professionals. In addition to his scientific and forensic work, Dr. Gaballah is an active medicolegal educator who has delivered numerous lectures and workshops addressing medical liability, informed consent, autopsy practice, forensic investigations, and specialty-specific medicolegal considerations across various medical disciplines. He also serves as a reviewer for the Egyptian Journal of Forensic Sciences and the Saudi Journal of Forensic Medicine and Sciences. Prof. Rania Farouk El Sayed has spent more than twenty-five years building pelvic floor MRI into an international subspecialty. She founded the European Society of Urogyn Radiolgy ESUR ‘s Pelvic Floor MRI Working Group in 2004, chaired it from 2004 to 2014 and again from 2016 to 2018, and is lead author of the field's first published guidelines, the 2017 ESUR-ESGAR joint recommendations. She later served as liaison between ESUR and the Society of Abdominal Radiology USA for the 2019 MR defecography recommendations, and co-authored the 2021 consensus definitions endorsed by six international societies. She is Professor of Radiology at Cairo University, where she founded and heads the MRI Pelvic Floor Imaging Unit and Research Lab, an international referral centre that has drawn patients and trainees from Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. She has written ten chapters of Elsevier's Diagnostic Imaging: Gynecology and contributed to six textbooks. In 2022, the British Society of Urogenital Radiology described her as "a worldwide authority on Pelvic Floor Imaging, without any peers in the radiology field."
